Your tasks

• Comprehensive accounting support for one or more group companies
• Payment processing: Preparing outgoing payments, posting incoming and outgoing payments
• Independently processing and posting incoming invoices
• Accounts payable management: Processing incoming payment reminders and communicating with suppliers
• Accounts receivable management: Preparing payment reminders and serving as the primary point of contact for customer communications
• Preparing monthly financial statements, tax returns, and intercompany reconciliations
• Preparing annual financial statements and serving as the point of contact for auditors and tax advisors
• Long-term: Acting as a substitute for the team leader

Your profile

• You have completed training as a tax clerk, bookkeeper, or a comparable commercial apprenticeship
• You have successfully completed further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or have several years of professional experience in accounting
• You have a deep understanding of financial accounting and fixed asset accounting, and have experience preparing monthly financial statements
• You have a knack for numbers and also possess extensive knowledge of the legal framework (German Commercial Code, tax law) governing accounting
• You are characterized by a meticulous, solution-oriented, and independent work style
• You are a true team player
• You are proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word) and have experience with an ERP system
• You have good written and spoken English skills
• The ability to think systematically and recognize connections rounds out your profile
