You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

The chief engineering for space exploration spacecraft and products is technically responsible for a various number of highly inspiring space mission programs towards Mars, Moon and for the International Space Station (ISS) as well as future Space Stations contributions.

We are seeking a highly motivated working student within the center management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about Artificial Intelligence Applications, Jira, Confluence, center administration & finance and project management in general, while contributing to the digitalization and improvement streams within the engineering organization.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Digitalize the Engineering administration environment using Artificial Intelligence Applications, Jira and Confluence and google workspace
  
• Support to run improvement streams within the engineering center and included departments
  
• Discover Performance Management routines and promote best practices
  
• Support of the Chief Engineering center head for the administration of the department
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders and identify potential improvement areas
  
• Support for consolidation of center & department financial and work-load planning with the involved stakeholder
  
• Support to validate coherency of financial and workload planning identification of corrective actions
  
• Support for follow-up of corrective actions
  
• Participate in reporting activities to make them leaner and more valuable
  
• Prepare presentations and decision proposals
  

Desired skills and qualifications

• Currently full time enrolled in a Bachelor`s or Master`s degree program in a relevant field, such as business administration or engineering
  
• Strong interest in project management and digitalization
  
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is a plus, but not required
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
  
• Strong personal initiative and practical problem solving
  
• Reliable and independent way of working with a hands on mindset
  
• Good organization skills with regards to self- and time management
  
• Very good English skills (written and verbal), German would be a plus
