Working Student within Robotics and Automation (d/f/m)

You are a full time student (d/f/m), looking for a working student position? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Automation & Robotics Team as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Manufacturing of test benches or test equipment
  
• Assist with the setup and execution of robotic experiments
  
• Collaborate with team members to design and develop test equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems.
  
• Ensure the laboratory is organised and well-maintained, including inventory management and equipment calibration.
  
• Support researchers and engineers in various tasks related to advanced robotics projects.
  

Desired skills and qualifications

• Fulltime enrolled student (d/f/m) in a relevant field such as Robotics, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  
• Strong interest in robotics and automation technologies.
  
• Practical experience as a mechanic or electrician
  
• Professional training (apprenticeship) as mechanic or electrician is an advantage
  
• Basic knowledge of CAD software for design purposes.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic research environment.
